24-year-old Gizzelle Uys of South Africa was crowned Miss Eco International 2020 at the Baron Resort in Sharm el-Sheik in South Sinai, Egypt on the evening of April 4, 2021. She is the first woman from her country to win the pageant that seeks to promote environmental awareness and eco-tourism.
Her court includes first runner-up Kelly Day of the Philippines, second runner-up Alexandra Kelly, third runner-up Steffanía Alejandra Rodríguez Vivas of Venezuela and fourth runner-up Kristel Ruiz Freeman of Costa Rica. Completing the top ten were the contestants from Thailand, Indonesia, Panama, Ecuador and Belgium.
