Namibia Wins Miss Supranational 2021

Namibia's Chanique Rabe, 24,  bested 57 beauties from around the globe for the title of Miss Supranational 2021 on Saturday, August 21,  in Malopolska, Poland. She was crowned by outgoing queen Anntonia Porsild of Thailand during the event's glitzy finale at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Malopolska, Poland.

Rabe's court includes first runner-up Karla Guilfú Acevedo of Puerto Rico, second runner-up Thato Mosehle  of South Africa, third runner-up Valentina Sanchez Trivella of Venezuela, and fourth runner-up Eoanna Constanza of the Dominican Republic. Completing the top 12 were the delegates from Belgium, Netherlands, Philippines, Poland, Indonesia, Romania and India. 

Rounding up the top 24 were the contestants from Panama, Kenya, Trinidad & Tobago, Haiti, Ecuador, Thailand, Czech Republic, France, Japan, Brazil, Peru and El Salvador.

Rabe's win marks Namibia's only second major international crown. Michelle McLean, who represented Namibia, was crowned Miss Universe in 1992.
