Congratulations to Michelle Dee, 28, of Makati for being crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2023. She becomes the second Filipina to win both MUPH and Miss World PH (2019) crown (the first being Catriona Gray). Dee will now compete in Miss Universe 2023 pageant to be held in El Salvador sometime in December.
After the show, the other two finalists, Krishnah Gravidez of Baguio and Pauline Amelinckx of Bohol, were crowned respectively as Miss Charm Philippines 2023 and Miss Supranational Philippines 2023.
The first runner-up is Christine Opiaza of Zambales and the second runner-up is Angelique Manto of Pampanga.
Dee is the daughter of Miss International 1979 Melanie Marquez and placed in the top 12 of Miss World 2019 contest.
