Organiser Truman Bradley said Fiji's chance of winning an award at the Miss World International pageant was high.
"This is the beginning of the Miss World Fiji journey," Mr Bradley said.
"I think we are going to win something, what we will win I am not sure of but there are a lot of events and a lot of opportunities to win something in the Miss World pageant."
Mr Bradley said the competition was successful because of the support of the people of Fiji.
"This is where we go forward to the main event where we aim to bring Miss World to Fiji in 2017."
Asena Rokotuwai was named the First Princess and winner of the Top Model award while Vasiti Radekedeke was named Second Princess. Teresia Weeks won the Miss Photogenic Award.
