Completing the top 10 were the delegates from North Carolina, Tennessee, California, Virginia and Maryland. Brookley Wofford of Minnesota won the Miss Photogenic award while Leah Soloperto of New Hampshire won the People's Choice award.

Priester had competed in Miss South Carolina USA 2015 where she placed 3rd runner-up. Unfortunately. she will not compete internationally. Her predecessor, Elizabeth Safrit of North Carolina, was appointed as the U.S. delegate to Miss World 2014 after the director of Miss United States, Christopher Wilmer, was awarded the U.S. franchise for Miss World in early 2014 by Julia Morley, the CEO of Miss World Organization. Morley wanted a national pageant to select the official U.S. representative to Miss World and not just appoint one. On July 3, Victoria Mendoza of Arizona was crowned the first Miss World America during a national pageant which gives her the right to represent the U.S. in Miss World 2015 to be held in Sanya, China in December.
