Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2017

Jessica Baeder, a 17-year-old senior at Auburn High School, won the title of Miss America's Outstanding Teen Saturday.
Baeder competed against 51 other young women at the Orlando event, a sister program of the Miss America Organization. She was crowned Miss Alabama's Outstanding Teen in March, after finishing first runner-up in the state pageant in 2016.
In addition to winning the national title, Baeder also received the Teens in Action award for most outstanding community service.
Earlier in the week, Baeder won her talent preliminary for her ballet on pointe to "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy." In addition to talent, Baeder competed in private interview, evening gown/onstage question, lifestyle and fitness and scholastic achievement.
Baeder won $30,000 in prizes and scholarships.
First runner-up in the event was Georgia Outstanding Teen Annie Swan; second runner-up was Maryland Outstanding Teen Chloe Wildman; third runner-up was Texas Outstanding Teen Stephanie Wendt; and fourth runner-up was Michigan Outstanding Teen Katie Preston.
